David O'Keefe
Principal, Founder Bay Point Capital
Dave began his sales career working for Storage Technology, a computer storage company in 1980. After several years as an equipment sales rep in Boston, he transitioned into the equipment finance business in 1986, working for Randolph Computer in Greenwich, CT. Randolph Computer was a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bank of Boston and, in 1990, Dave was asked to move Randolph’s portfolio from Greenwich to Boston where he acted as the managing director of the group.
In 1996 Dave joined Relational Technology Services, an equipment leasing company headquartered in Illinois. Dave was one of ten employees at that time, and helped grow the company to almost 400 people when he left to form Bay Point Capital in July, 2005.
Since forming BPC, Dave has consistently delivered a quality leasing product to numerous companies across the country, offering competitive pricing and exceptional service.
Tom Coveney
Managing Director, Bay Point Capital
Tom has been in the equipment finance business for over 35 years, starting with IBM in the early 1980’s focusing on creative selling and finance opportunities. Tom will assist the BPC team with new relationships and vendor opportunities, helping all parties find financing solutions and options that drive more sales and long-term relationships.
As a former Bank of Boston leasing executive, Tom will focus on his banking relationships and leasing contacts to identify opportunities outside of the traditional banking footprint.
